Eco Fitness Camps
I take a unique approach to this fitness boot camp. One, this is an Eco Adventure so we keep the boot camp outside if you enjoy that or the fitness class inside if you enjoy that more and two, if you are not in condition we will first condition you before we push it to the limit.
This El Paso, TX boot camp is designed to push each person individually to their fullest potential. These classes are strictly designed to help you reach your fitness goals quickly and effectively! Whatever your current fitness levels or personal goals are, this is where you can expect fast results.
Eco Fitness Camps are a results-driven conditioning program in El Paso TX and around the country that runs up to 5 times weekly Monday through Saturday upon availability (YOUR CHOICE) 545pm and 645pm at 50 to 60-minute durations per session. It is conducted in an indoor and or outdoor environment, utilizing military and civilian style exercise formats, coupled with the most progressive, innovative, and creative exercises in fitness.
The El Paso, TX Eco Fitness Camps are the perfect fitness boot camp, which trains the entire body, from head to toe, ages 15 and above. We incorporate such activities as, but are not limited to, biking, swimming, modest mountain climbing, indoor and outdoor cardiovascular exercises, speed and endurance, partner resistance, strength training with sports drills, calisthenics, and kick boxing. You may do as few of these activities as you like or all of them. It is entirely up to what you feel comfortable with. We expand your fitness levels with group challenges, kickboxing, medicine ball drills, polymeric, box drills, obstacle course, and many versions of military style physical training!

Where are the camps located?
Our Fat Loss, Fitness, and Boot Camp are located near Redd Rd and Resler on the West Side of El Paso, TX.
What if I’m not very physically fit?
NOBODY will be left behind or asked to complete more than they are capable of doing safely. Nor will anybody go home unchallenged! Women and Men of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate. Each day will slightly increase in intensity. You will inspire and be inspired by others
What types of exercises are included in the program?
Exercises include: core conditioning, functional training, short distance running (less than one mile), muscular strength, jumping rope, circuit training, hiking, obstacle courses, PAR course, Pilates mat exercises, surprises and more! This technique was developed by fitness expert John Gaetano.
Camps are held outdoors. Directions will be given at your first assessment. On select days, campers may travel a short distance away from the “base camp” for a fun hike day. You will receive your schedule prior to camp.
What is a typical day like at camp?
That’s difficult to say since each day weather is unique in El Paso while intentionally different to alleviate boredom. You can expect exercises including Pilates, Sport Yoga, Strength Yoga, some light running, sprinting, body weight training, obstacle courses, core training and jumping rope each week. On special days, you will go hiking. It’s always an adventure, and you’ll always have fun! We teach you a great deal about proper form and “core stability.” You will enjoy a unique fitness experience from the top trainers in the industry and the creator of the boot camp craze which has swept the nation.
How often will we meet?
Your membership includes unlimited sessions upon availability but we recommend no more than three times weekly, every other day to maximize recovery. You will also be credited $10 per month while an active member to join EP Fintess. We want you to conduct an intelligent weight lifting program as well on your own or join www.modeltrainers.com based in El Paso, Tx.
What do I get when I sign up?
Besides your camp sessions, you get a pre and post camp evaluation, and a free T-shirt, fat test, Measurements, weighed, and a custom diet plan.
The Pre-Camp Evaluation includes the following:
1. We will give you an introduction to Eco Fitness Camps and answer any questions you may have. We will also review your medical history.
2. We will take a few simple measurements to see where you are prior to beginning camp. The actual measurements (number of inches) don’t matter. We want to know how much you improve during the camp. It’s strictly for a post-camp comparison. These numbers and all other information will be held in the strictest confidence.
3. We will record your weight and measure your body fat percentage. Again, the numbers don’t matter. We just want to be able to measure your improvement. Don’t be surprised if you see a 3-8% reduction in your body fat over the four weeks and many pounds! This is common.
What kinds of people go to camp?
They are people just like you attend this boot camp from all over El Paso, TX. Someone who needs a little push to jump-start their fitness and wellness program. Camp is designed for all sizes, shapes and fitness levels
How soon will I see results?
Performance improvement can take place in as little as three days. “Visual Improvement” can take from two to four weeks depending on your effort level. It’s becoming common to see a member go down 1-2 dresses sizes or 1.2 pant sizes within the first camp. Remember, everyone is different! It’s not a competition, so focus on your individual results.
Are there shower facilities, or a place I can get ready for work?
If you are a member of EP Fitness, you can get ready there. Even if you are not a member, you might think of joining as the facility is a great way to enhance your fitness.
What do I need to bring?
An exercise mat, iPod with your favorite songs (keep one earphone in and one ear open), water bottle, good cross training/running shoes, the proper clothing for the days weather, sunscreen, a hat, and a sense of adventure.
Why should I participate?
You will make a dramatic improvement in your physical and mental well-being. In addition, you’ll meet great people who share your same passion for acquiring a more healthy body and mind. You will be finished with your training before the rest of the world has even gotten started! And, you’ll be several hundred calories ahead of everyone else!
Is there a refund policy?
If you are unable to attend camp due to circumstances out of your control, we can offer you a refund if you notify us prior to your session start date. However, we will charge a $50.00 cancellation fee. If we are notified after your session begins, we can only give you a credit towards another boot camp. This credit is nontransferable. There is no cash refund. We only do this as knowing you may lose money you are much less likely to miss your sessions. We have never been asked to give a refund.
What is the investment?
Each month’s boot camp has a price of $99 per month for 1 to 20 sessions of instruction! That is as low as $5 per hour but averages $8 per hour. Where else can you get premiere or cutting-edge fitness instruction for that incredible price? Simply cut out one bad fast food or restaurant meal or any other bad habit like drinking or smoking and your new healthy lifestyle will pay for your training!

What if I can't perform a certain exercise?
We will instruct you how to perform a modified, lower-impact version of the exercise as an alternative. This will strengthen the targeted muscle group so that you will eventually be able to perform the original exercise.
Will you yell at us? I'm scared!
I consider yelling negative reinforcement and hence, do not consider this motivating. It may be good theater at other boot camps but has no real value. We are all adults and aim to keep you focused on the task at hand. Abuse, harassment - we don't go there, even if you want us to. If you want verbal abuse, well, I do not recommend this! For positive reinforcement, come and enjoy the camaraderie of a non-competitive group workout at Boot Camp Fitness.
What about the weather?
During inclement weather - too hot, too cold, raining, etc. – well, may I use an historical example. The Spartans did not worry about the weather. Simply dress appropriately. Check the weather daily.

Everyone from 15 to 70.
